The Westmoreland Marcellus Citizens Group(WMCG) consist of volunteers from all over Westmoreland County representing smaller townships and municipalities.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to educate communities on the impacts of Marcellus shale drilling on the natural environment, health, and long-term economics and to enact land-use ordinances that will better serve the interest of Westmoreland County residents.
The Westmoreland Marcellus Citizens Group is project of the Thomas Merton Center.
